Birthdays are usually a time of celebration and joy, but for some people, it can be a sad occasion. The sad birthday concept is a feeling of disappointment, loneliness, and sadness on one's birthday. I wanted to portray a character who does not have anyone to celebrate with as if life was meaningless despite a ‘happy occasion’. The emotions I wanted to portray are raw and hit home as not everyone gets to enjoy their special day.
